Shiroma
Shiho Shiroma presented one of Tokyo’s few active-influenced collections for F/W 12, standing out with sweatshirt silhouettes and boxy outerwear. Details like drawstrings, cargo pockets and zips furthered the functional mood, but the designer didn’t overlook the knitwear experiments so popular in Tokyo, incorporating oversized fuzzy sweaters embellished with chunky braids. Shiroma’s ghostly mirror prints were also fresh, especially applied to cowl-neck anoraks or slouchy cotton shorts.
